The Triathlon

I am so proud of my awesome husband!  He finished his first olympic distance triathlon this weekend in Powell.  This wasn't just his first olympic distance tri, but it was his first tri ever.  Most people start out with the sprint distance but not Justin.  If you are going to do it you might as well go all the way.  Right?  Many thanks to his sister Jesica who instigated the whole thing and who also participated in the event.  One day out of the blue Justin gets off of his butt, buys a bike, swim goggles, and running shoes and decides that he is going to train for a triathlon.  I was a little skeptical at first but he proved that he was serious when he commenced his five month long training program.  He stuck with the training the best he could while working full time and helping me raise our two adorable little munchkins.  I can honestly say that I have never been prouder of my awesome, sexy, triathlete husband!!  It was so much fun to sit and cheer him on.  Plus, I am always looking for a good excuse to go to Lake Powell.

Hey you guys! First of all, congrats to Justin for what he just accomplished, I know I could never do that. Hope all is going well. Your family pic is too cute. We really need to plan a lunch date some day.

Hey Heather! How funny to find your cute blog! I love BJ's wedding pictures. That was the perfect weather for an outdoor wedding. The picture of you and Asher is really sweet, but I looked closer and Trudy and Becky are scowling in the background..I had to laugh!! They will get a kick out of that! The Bitty Basic blog has some pretty handy things, I love the wipe and diaper holder, I will definately keep you in mind the next baby shower I go to! Next time it will be you in the triathlon.. right?!
